5.7 Earthquakes…
It’s the strangest thing to experience an earthquake…of what I found out minutes later, was 5.7 on the Richter Scale
We are on the 12th Floor of a building to the east of Lisbon…remember Lisbon is in an earthquake zone, the last being in 1755, which basically destroyed downtown Lisbon, the most modern city in the world at the time…remember this was in the heyday of Portugal discoveries.
Anyway, as the Actress said to the Bishop….what does a 5.7 feel like: (more…)
Glass Bottle - Bottle Glass…
In May, I posted “Finally…Smart Packaging…” which was about the luncheon meats sold by Hillshire Farms, where you simply peel the label off of the lid, and you have small storage container and that can be used again and again.
This idea (image below) for the beer bottle is really interesting, as the bottle is being transformed into quite a good looking glass. With a bit of thought, it could be a nicely designed every day use glass…(…theme for a good design competition maybe 
)
I do see major opportunities in this area for manufacturers to design their bottles or plastic containers into reuseable somethings for an after life….
Working at Home
It has long been said that Working from Home is the way of the future…there are so many advantages in terms of reduced transport and all the consequential environmental costs, time taken to get to work, cost, stress, and a host more benefits.
Technology has obviously made a major difference…this video will however, make you aware of some of the dangers…..

You must see the connection between Copenhagen 2009 and Tiger’s present situation.
I just read a comment left by a woman to an article reporting the fact that sponsors are beginning to drop “Brand Tiger”…just when he needs their support most…the likes of Gillette and Accenture being the latest.
The comment said something like: “I will not be spending one penny of my hard earned cash on products that will end up in Tiger’s pocket…” (more…)
