Going through the experience of the Local elections in Lisbon (11th October) from the perspective of very up close and personal, the conclusion I come to is that democracy is really a wonderful thing.

It was great to meet all the people I did meet and to get to know (a bit) how the political system functions. The tension and expectation around the time of the announcement was amazing. We were not on the winning team, but we’ll be back…
